Anton Shapran, Head of Maritime Logistics, took part in the international conference Global Grain Geneva 2022, which was held on November 15-17 in Geneva.
Global Grain Geneva 2022 is a meeting place for industry experts to discuss trade issues at an unprecedented time. 2022 proved to be an unprecedented year in grain trade. The Russian-Ukrainian war is severely affecting traditional export flows from the Black Sea. At the same time, unusual weather conditions are affecting yields in some of the most important grain producing regions.
The conference discussed important issues related to changes in grain trade flows, market volatility and price trends in the industry.
In the conditions of market volatility, fluctuations in grain prices and freight rates, it is very important to “keep a finger on the pulse” of the situation in the industry, exchange views with partners, create new business relationships for sustainable development of the company.
